August 2014 - I am part of Swim West Lothian and am in the Junior Performance Squad. I recently got selected to train with Scottish Swimming's Districts Regional Programme as part of the Youth Development. I am enjoying my swimming and all the galas I am doing. But, I have now decided to start doing Triathlons as well. Therefore I wanted to train with a coach so I asked Brian from T.O.D Coaching if he could coach me, he said yes. He is helping me with my strength and conditioning training and also has helped me with rehabilitation from an injury which I had recently. He has been teaching me lots of new exercise to help with my training and to improve me as an athlete and to be able to improve my results. This is also including helping me to learn and improve my running technique, to the point where I have just competed in my first Aquathon for Team T.O.D which I really enjoyed and am looking forward to competing in full Triathlons when the new season begins.UPDATE June 2015: This year has been a good year so far for me, combined with my pool training at Swim West Lothian and my Land Training with Brian, I have so far made the Scottish Schools Finals in January for the 50 Backstroke, I was at the National Age Group Championships at Aberdeen in April and went Team Travel staying away from home with the squad for the first time, I had a few PB's and made the 200 Butterfly Final. I have also just entered my first full junior Triathlon which will take place in August which I am really looking forward to.
